DeMarv's Catering is a full-service catering company established in Detroit, Michigan. Since 1996, formerly known as D.M.G.'s Catering, we have proudly provided catering services throughout the Greater Detroit Metropolitan Area and beyond.
Our delicious Southern comfort food has its roots in Jackson, Mississippi. As college students living off campus, we discovered a passion and love for cooking while preparing meals for ourselves and others. People often complimented the food, came back for more, and spread the word. Before we knew it, it was clear that we had something special in the making.
After graduating and returning to Detroit, we knew it was time to put our passion and love for cooking to the test. Being away from the college campus environment meant stepping outside of our comfort zone and building a new customer base. That journey led us to participate in the Ethnic Festivals at Hart Plaza in downtown Detroit.
There, our feet were truly put to the fire. Handling high-volume orders gave us firsthand experience preparing and serving food efficiently while maintaining exceptional customer service.
Those opportunities gave us the confidence to expand beyond the grill and fryer and introduce the soulful comfort foods and entrées that would become the heart of DeMarv's Catering. Through networking, word-of-mouth referrals, and a growing reputation for great food, we continued creating meals designed to satisfy the taste buds, put minds at ease, and bring comfort to the soul.
